Balflex Classic is the classic trapezoidal V-belt range of Balflex, according to DIN 2215 and MPTA-RMA-RAC IP-20 standards. Classic V-belts are economic and versatile, low-maintenance means of power transmission. Balflex has optimized the construction of these classic transmission belts in order to assure top rated performance. Among their features are:

Low elongation: Specially treated high strength polyester cords allow lower elongation and higher resistance to bending fatigue, and thus more efficient power transmission, less readjustment needs and higher service life

High efficiency: The high strength and high flexibility of the belt ensure high efficiency

Heat and oil resistance: Special synthetic rubber compound of the body and cover impregnation allows better resistance to heat and oil, and thus higher service life a)

Electric conductivity: Special synthetic rubber compound of the body and cover impregnation allows better electrical conductivity in order to achieve anti-static characteristics a)

Dimensional Stability: Dimensional checks assure high uniformity of belt weight and pitch line along all length

Balflex Evolution

Balflex Evolution is the narrow trapezoidal V-belt range of Balflex, according to DIN 7753 standard.

Evolution V-belts have considerable smaller cross-sections than comparable power rated classic V-belts. They add up to the economic and versatile, low maintenance characteristics of classic V-belts high efficiency for top rated performance. Among their features are:

Low weight: Special cross-section design allows a significant mass
reduction, which in turn assures better dynamic characteristics

High speed: Better dynamic characteristics allow faster speeds

Compact drive design: Better dynamic characteristics allow smaller sheave diameters, shorter centre distances and an overall more compact design of the transmission drive

Low Maintenance: Better dynamic characteristics allow lower tensioning and therefore less take-up and less effort on the shafts and bearings
