Balfitâ Hydraulic Couplings

 

Balfitâ hydraulic couplings are designed for use with Balfitâ hydraulic fittings and Balflex hydraulic hoses in high-pressure hydraulic systems.

The range of Balfitâ hydraulic valves is produced according to Balflex specifications and to ISO, DIN and SAE standards and other relevant industrial specifications. Balflex has optimized the construction of these hydraulic valves in order to assure top rated performance, reliability and economy. Among their features are:

Security: To be used in standard hydraulic systems, Balfit hydraulic valves are all designed with a security factor of 4:1. Minimum burst pressure is thus always four times the rated working pressure
Low spillage: Specially designed sealing areas keep spillage below standard recommendations, whether at low or high pressure, when uncoupled
Easy handling: Connect and disconnect force are set at low values to allow easy handling
High efficiency: Sealing area design keeps pressure drop at a minimum, allowing undisturbed flow
Heat and oil resistance: Standard sealing rings are designed to resist oil and heat up to 80°C. Special sealing rings on stainless steel bodies can be supplied on request for higher temperatures
Versatility: Balfitâ valves are produced with all sorts of threads (BSP; Metric, NPTF) and sizes in order to assure interchangeability and an extensive range of applications
